The Center for Israeli Innovation by Taglit in Partnership with TASE
You probably know Taglit as an association offering a free, life-changing trip to Israel to young Jewish adults. Well, you’re right that the primary goal of Taglit is to ensure the vibrant future of the Jewish people by strengthening Jewish identity, Jewish communities, and connection with Israel.
I want to tell you about a different side of Taglit and how they connect their participant to the Israeli innovation.
The Center for Israeli Innovation
I went to visit ‘The Center for Israeli Innovation‘ visitors center located in the Stock Exchange building in Tel-Aviv.
The Center for Israeli Innovation by Taglit in partnership with the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange is a cutting-edge visitor’s center presenting the Israeli Start-Up Nation.
As part of Taglit’s tours, most of the participants are going to visit local startups and innovative companies. Due to obvious reasons, you can only visit a limited amount of places during a tour. Following many requests to see more and more Israeli technologies, they came up with this great idea, to centralize many Israeli innovations and technologies in one place, ‘The Center for Israeli Innovation.’
The experience in the center includes a tour of an interactive exhibition, a short video about the origin of the startup nation, and could include a session with an Israeli entrepreneur presenting their personal story.
The exhibition displays over 80 leading Israeli companies, including the most dominant technology companies and promising Israeli startups in different fields such as health, science, safety and security, agriculture, space, and transportation and provides the visitor with a great perspective on Israeli innovation and startups ecosystem, all centralized in one place.
I got to see the story of Beresheet, the Israeli spaceship to the moon, drink water we create water from the largest available resource – the air, using Watergen technology and many other amazing innovations.
Place your visit
Since established in the summer of 2016, over 120,000 visitors already have visited the center, including students, business delegations and diplomats from around the world.
The center maintains a vibrant entrepreneurial community of volunteers from the start-up ecosystem who speak and share their stories with Birthright participants and before top quality audiences who come to explore the Israeli ecosystem.
In the evenings, the center is available as a unique and inspiring meeting place for Israeli innovation community meetups and conferences. Furthermore, the center offers a networking platform to share internship programs, and job offers with young professionals from around the world.
If you have customers visiting from abroad, this would be a great place to take them for a break to get a taste of the startup nation.
The center is looking for new speakers to join the community and to share their personal entrepreneurial story with Taglit groups and delegation from all over the world!
